André B. Bondi

The company’s founder, Dr. André B. Bondi, has many years of experience in software and systems performance engineering. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Software Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology since August 2019. Until October 2015, he was a Senior Staff Engineer working in software performance at Siemens Corp., Corporate Technologies in Princeton, New Jersey. Dr. Bondi combines his training and experience in computer science, statistics, and operations research to provide comprehensive and innovative consulting and training services in software performance engineering. His book, Foundations of Software and System Performance Engineering, was published by Addison-Wesley in 2014. He was an invited plenary speaker at CMG 2015 in San Antonio, Texas, and an invited keynote speaker at LS2016 and tutorial speaker at ICPE 2016 in Delft, the Netherlands. Dr. Bondi was a Visiting Professor at the University of L'Aquila, Italy during the fall 2016 semester. In November 2016, he received the Computer Measurement Group’s prestigious A. A. Michelson Award.

Dr. Bondi has worked on performance issues in several problem domains, including industrial data analytics, rail, telecommunications, conveyor systems, web-based financial systems, building surveillance and management, telecommunications operations support systems, teletraffic engineering, and network management.
Dr. Bondi was with Siemens for twelve years. He has held senior performance positions at two startup companies. He spent thirteen years at AT&T Labs and its predecessor, Bell Labs. Prior to joining Bell Labs, he was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in computer science from Purdue University, an M.Sc. in statistics from University College London, and a B.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Exeter. He has nine US patents.
